Ok, so. I decided to uninstall all the games I don't play any more and all those annoying services and applets that misc shit installs over general use and I got to thinking about it....

Yes, services are just as bad, but I'm lazy and I'm not digging them all out since msconfig does provide a reasonable way to edit them. I'm not sure, as I need to check. But I think there are a few other odd ways to load apps at launch...
